Google Docs- each kids uses email or you can set up another account for them to use collectively (can’t tell who writes what in this manner so kids add names to all posted content) - lesson/weekly planning on a google doc that can be shared with OTs, EAs, parents, etc. - reminder to use Creative Commons Canada (videos, pictures etc license free)

Digital Citizenship - web 1.0 is ‘internet of the past’ - web 2.0 is ‘internet of the present’ - Digital Compass: decision making around what I do and how I do things on line. Directions have to do with different Opinions. Connecting various scenarios and what is right or wrong to do in those situations using the directions on the compass. Leads to discussion and the students should be the ones to come to the decision of the appropriate course of action for each scenario. __teachers.wrdsb.ca/watts__ for lots of great tips and web sites on digital citizenship - __zamzar.com__ allows you to download a you tube video into whatever you want in order to show it in your classroom
